Welcome to Jobswagon. By using our website and services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. General Use and Account Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to use our service.
Our service is intended to generate one resume for one person per order.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account information.
We expect all users to act professionally. Do not post false, inaccurate, or misleading information.
Prohibited Activities: You agree not to use Jobswagon services to create content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, fraudulent, or violates the rights of others. This includes generating content that promotes dangerous activities, misinformation, or attempts to bypass safety features. Violation of this rule may result in immediate account termination.

2. Service Plan, Payments, and Expiration

One-Time Payment: We only charge a one-time payment. There are no subscriptions or auto-renewals.
Plan Validity: Your plan is valid for six months from the date of purchase, or as mentioned on our website at the time of purchase.
Expiration: After your plan expires, you will no longer be able to access the resume editor. You must place a new order to regain access.

3. Service Provisions and Limitations

PDF Format Only: We only provide resume downloads in PDF format. We do not support .doc, .docx, or other formats. This is to ensure your resume's layout looks perfect on every device.
Fixed Templates: The design elements for each template (such as fonts, colors, and layout) are fixed and cannot be changed.
Fixed Section Order: The order of the resume sections is fixed and cannot be reordered. This structure is intentionally designed based on industry best practices.
No Cover Letter Builder: Our service provides a smart resume builder. Cover letter creation is not available at this time.
Resume Reset Policy: Our platform is designed for you to edit the resume we build. Re-uploading a new file is not a standard feature. In exceptional cases, you may contact support to request a one-time-use reset link to start over with a new file. This is provided at our discretion to prevent misuse.

4. AI Assistance and Content Accuracy

Jobswagon uses generative artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze resumes and suggest improvements. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or reflect biases.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content generated by our service before using it for job applications or any other purpose. The output provided by the AI does not constitute professional advice.
You acknowledge that AI models may generate similar or identical content for different users.

5. User Content and Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you provide to Jobswagon (e.g., your original resume content, prompts).
Saving Your Work: Your work is saved only when you press the "Save" button for a specific section. **There is no auto-save feature.** You are responsible for saving your changes regularly to prevent data loss.
By submitting feedback, suggestions, or testimonials, you grant Jobswagon a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display them for marketing, improvement, or other business purposes, unless you explicitly state otherwise in writing.

6. Intellectual Property

The content on Jobswagon, including text, graphics, logos, and templates, is the property of Jobswagon or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. It is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only in connection with our services.
You may not sell, modify, reproduce, distribute, or publicly display our content or templates for any public or commercial purpose outside of the intended use provided by our service.

7. Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your purchase, which is why we show you a full preview of your AI-generated resume before you buy. Once your payment is complete, we immediately deliver the final document(s) to your email and provide access via your dashboard. Because our service is a digital product that is delivered instantly and has been previewed by you, we are unable to offer refunds. If you experience any technical issues with your download or access, please contact our support team for assistance.

8. Support

We provide all customer support via email or our official support ticket system. We do not offer phone support at this time.

9. Termination

Jobswagon reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services without notice if you violate these terms, misuse our service (including engaging in prohibited activities as defined in Section 1), or act in a way that is not in keeping with our mission, at our sole discretion.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

Jobswagon provides its services "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will meet your requirements, be error-free, or result in job offers.
Jobswagon is not responsible for the content of third-party websites linked on our site.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jobswagon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; (c) any content obtained from the services; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jobswagon, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the service or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new terms on our site. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

13. Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information. By using our service, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide: We collect personal information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and billing information (like name and address). We also collect and store the entire content of the resume you upload and the data you enter into the editor ("Resume Data").
Support Information: We store the messages you send to our support team.
Technical Information: We may log your IP address and use trackers to monitor service usage and prevent abuse.

How We Use Your Information

To Provide the Service: We use your Resume Data to generate, edit, and store your resume. We use your email to send login links and support messages.
To Process Payments: Your payment information is used to process your one-time transaction.
To Improve Our Service: We use aggregated and anonymized data to analyze service performance.

How Long We Keep Your Information

Resume Data. "Resume Data" means the resume file you upload, the resume our AI generates from it, and anything you enter or edit in our editor.

If you do not complete a purchase: we keep your Resume Data for 14 days from the date you last uploaded or edited it, so you can return and finish. After 14 days we permanently delete it from our active systems, and any access link we sent you stops working.
If you complete a purchase: we store your Resume Data for as long as your plan is active so you can access and edit your resume, and we continue to store it after your plan expires so that you can renew at any time and pick up from where you left off instead of starting over. When your plan expires you lose access to the resume editor, but your resume and the data behind it stay stored against your email address and become available again when you place a new order.
Deleted data may persist briefly in encrypted backups before being overwritten in the ordinary course of backup rotation.

Deleting your stored resume. f you would rather we did not keep your Resume Data after your plan expires, you can ask us to delete it permanently at any time by contacting us. Deletion is irreversible: renewing later will not restore a resume we have deleted.

Contact and billing information. Your name, email address, phone number, and transaction records are kept separately from Resume Data and are not deleted at the 14-day mark. We retain them for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, and for as long as required by tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.

Saved Progress and Checkout Reminder Emails

If you upload a resume and begin but do not complete checkout, we will email a secure access link to the address you entered so you can return to your saved preview and continue where you left off. We may send a small number of reminder and promotional emails during the 14-day period.

Please make sure the email address you enter is correct and belongs to you: the link gives access to your Resume Data. Do not forward or share it. You can ask us to delete your data and invalidate the link at any time by contacting us.

Marketing Communications

When you provide your email address or phone number, we may contact you about Jobswagon, including offers, new features, and job-search tips. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also opt out by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not stop service emails such as login links, receipts, or your resume delivery. If you unsubscribe, we retain your contact details on a suppression list solely so we can continue honouring your request.

Your Rights and Choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent for marketing or for the processing described above. To exercise these rights, or to raise a grievance about how we handle your data, contact us at hello@jobswagon.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. Withdrawing consent for core processing may mean we can no longer provide the service.

Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with third parties who are essential to providing our service:

Google (Generative AI): To power our AI analysis and editing features, we send your Resume Data to Google's generative AI models for processing.
Razorpay: We use Razorpay to process your payments. We share necessary billing information with them to complete the transaction.
Meta (Facebook): We use the Meta Pixel and Conversion API for advertising purposes. We may send event data (like a purchase) and hashed user information (like your email or phone number) to Meta to measure ad effectiveness.
